Electronic Music Elements (EME) by Shed the Music is a comprehensive, non-performance-based curriculum designed to make authentic music production accessible to students from grades 4 through 12. Developed in collaboration with Eric Jao, also known as DJ Enferno of Mix Major, EME focuses on removing traditional barriers to composition, allowing students to engage in purposeful music creation without prior instrumental experience.
Elements makes real-world music production using Soundtrap accessible for all students with customized learning paths for upper primary, middle, and high school. With hands-on projects, flexible sequencing, and built-in teacher support, Elements provides everything educators need to bring modern music creation into the classroom.
