By the end, you’ll have the practical knowledge to support performances and events with confidence.

How You’ll Learn
- Interactive lessons, video based resources
- Hands-on practice setting up and operating live PA systems
- Experimenting with mixing and monitoring techniques for different performance scenarios
Assessment Tasks
- Provide videos and photos of you operating a PA system for a live performance
- One gig must include live drums
- One gig must include a medium sized PA with at least two sends of foldback
- Provide evidence of sound pressure levels from a dB meter (or phone app)
- Complete production documentation as required
- Complete quizzes to demonstrate your understanding
Duration
Depending on your level of existing skills and knowledge, we recommend that you allow 25 – 30 hours to complete this course. The course must be completed within 5 months of the enrolment date.
