Electronic Music Elements

Electronic Music Elements

Music EDnet are proud to announce the launch of “Electronic Music ELEMENTS” for Australian and New Zealand schools.

Available exclusively through Music EDnet, Electronic Music ELEMENTS is a turnkey music production and media arts curriculum (grades 4–12) that helps teachers bring modern music, cultural relevance, and career connections into the classroom.

Students use Soundtrap, accessible on any device (Windows, Mac, Chromebook, or iPad), to create radio-ready music in genres they connect with, like hip hop, pop, and dance.

Through non-performance-based projects like podcasting, songwriting, radio ads, music for film, and video game music, students build production skills while exploring real-world careers. No prior experience needed for students or teachers.

Demonstration

Watch Elements Co-creator Eric Jao (Mix Major, DJ Enferno) as he demonstrates how EME helps teachers and students:

  • Modernises music education
  • Integrates with STEM and ELA
  • Prepares students for a technology driven future
  • Teachers can spend less time planning and more time engaging with students

• What do I need to get started? Students need a device (Chromebook, iPad, etc), a pair of headphones, and a license of Soundtrap EDU

• Do you accept PO’s?
Yes we do, click the Request A Quote button and use the quote in your PO process.

• Won’t a class like this take away from my band/choir/orchestra program? Not at all! This program complements traditional ensembles by engaging students who may not currently participate in music programs. Many teachers find that EME helps recruit and retain students who later transition into performance ensembles, strengthening overall music department enrollment.
